Desktop UV marking for leather, glass and plastics
The Riselaser RL-UVG is a desktop UV laser marking machine available in 3W and 5W versions. It uses a 355 nm laser to mark text and graphics on leather, glass and plastics, with a standard marking area of 110 × 110 mm.
The air-cooled machine measures 549 × 320 × 668 mm and connects to an external computer via USB. A manual handwheel adjusts the marking head height for focusing. Marking software and a user manual are included; customers normally supply their own computer.
For glass cups and other cylindrical items, an optional rotary attachment supports marking around the circumference. This attachment is purchased separately.
Features of the RL-UVG desktop UV laser marker
Air cooling
Both the 3W and 5W versions use air cooling, so an external water chiller is not required.
Manual height adjustment
The handwheel raises or lowers the marking head to set the focus for different workpieces. The column has a specified vertical travel of 400 mm; usable workpiece height depends on the lens and setup.
Computer-based marking control
Connect your own computer through the supplied USB cable to prepare text and graphics and adjust marking settings. Marking software and a user manual are included, with online training available.
Optional rotary attachment
A rotary attachment is available at an additional cost for marking around glass cups and other cylindrical workpieces. Include this option when requesting a quotation if your products need circumferential marking.

Machine Configuration
Galvo scan head
Directs the laser beam across the marking area to produce the text and graphics prepared in the software.
Field lens
Focuses the UV laser beam onto the workpiece. The standard lens provides a marking area of 110 × 110 mm.
Cooling fan
Provides airflow for heat dissipation as part of the machine’s air-cooling system.
Worktable
Supports the workpiece during marking. Mounting holes allow fixtures to be secured for positioning.
Height adjustment column
Guides the vertical movement of the marking head. The scale provides a reference when adjusting the height.
Height adjustment handwheel
Manually raises or lowers the marking head to set the focus for the workpiece.

Does the RL-UVG require a separate computer?
