Quick Fault Diagnosis Table

Use this table to check common symptoms, possible causes, and first inspection steps before contacting technical support. It helps you narrow down the problem faster.

Machine / Symptom Possible Cause First Check When to Contact Support
Laser Welder
No laser output
Safety lock not connected, alarm active, grounding clip issue, chiller alarm, or incorrect trigger setting. Check the alarm screen, emergency stop, safety clip, grounding clip, chiller status, and laser enable setting. Contact support if the alarm remains after restarting or if the laser source does not respond.
Laser Welder
Weak welding power
Dirty protective lens, wrong focus position, low power setting, unstable gas, or damaged optical part. Check the protective lens, focusing distance, welding parameters, shielding gas, and material thickness. Contact support if power drops suddenly or the lens is clean but welding is still weak.
Welding / Cutting
Protective lens burns quickly
Dirty lens, metal splash, wrong welding angle, poor gas protection, bad nozzle condition, or incorrect focus. Replace the protective lens, check nozzle condition, adjust angle, improve gas flow, and clean the work area. Contact support if new lenses burn repeatedly in a short time.
Laser Cleaning
Cleaning effect becomes weak
Dirty protective lens, wrong focus, incorrect cleaning parameters, low power setting, or unsuitable laser type. Check the lens, focal distance, scan width, speed, power setting, and the material surface condition. Contact support if the same settings worked before but cleaning performance suddenly becomes poor.
Laser Cleaning
Scanner does not move or pattern is abnormal
Scanner cable issue, software setting error, control signal problem, or galvanometer fault. Check the control cable, software mode, scan width setting, and whether the red light path moves normally. Contact support if the scanner does not respond after checking cables and restarting.
Laser Cutting
Cutting has burrs or cannot cut through
Wrong speed, wrong focus, low gas pressure, dirty lens, worn nozzle, or insufficient laser power for thickness. Check cutting speed, focus position, auxiliary gas pressure, nozzle center, lens condition, and material thickness. Contact support if parameters are correct but cutting quality suddenly becomes unstable.
Laser Marking
Marking is weak or uneven
Wrong focus height, low power setting, dirty lens, wrong marking speed, or material surface problem. Adjust the focus height, check power and speed, clean the lens, and test on a flat sample surface. Contact support if the machine cannot focus correctly or marking quality changes suddenly.
Laser Marking
Red light and laser position do not match
Red light offset, lens change, parameter setting issue, or mechanical movement after transportation. Check red light alignment, focus position, marking software settings, and whether the worktable has shifted. Contact support if alignment cannot be corrected through software or normal adjustment.
XRF Analyzer
Test result is unstable
Sample position issue, dirty sample surface, plating layer, wrong test mode, calibration issue, or uneven alloy. Clean the sample, place it flat, test several points, confirm the test mode, and calibrate if required. Contact support if the same reference sample gives very different results repeatedly.
Cooling System
Chiller alarm or high temperature
Low water level, dirty filter, poor ventilation, wrong temperature setting, blocked water path, or pump issue. Check water level, filter, water pipe connection, chiller temperature, room ventilation, and alarm code. Contact support if the alarm continues after water, filter, and ventilation are checked.
Support Preparation

Before You Contact Support

To help us diagnose the fault faster, please prepare clear machine information, problem photos, videos, alarm messages, and working parameters before contacting our technical team.

Identify the Machine

Send the machine model, nameplate photo, order information, and main configuration so we can confirm the correct machine version.

Show the Problem

Take a clear photo of the alarm screen and record a short video showing how the fault happens during operation.

Share Working Details

Tell us your material, thickness, gas, lens condition, parameter settings, and when the problem first appeared.

Information to Prepare

The more complete the information, the faster our team can identify the cause and give the right troubleshooting steps.

  • Machine model and nameplate photo
  • Order number or buyer name if available
  • Error code or alarm message
  • Machine screen photo
  • Short video of the fault during operation
  • Photos of lenses, nozzles, cables, or damaged parts
  • Material type, thickness, and application
  • Current working parameters and gas pressure
  • When the problem started
  • Whether any parts were replaced recently

Example Support Message

You can send us a message like this to speed up support:

Hello, my machine model is RL-XXXX. The machine shows alarm code XXXX. The problem started today after changing the protective lens. I am welding 2 mm stainless steel with these parameters. I attached the alarm screen photo, lens photo, and a short working video. Please help me check the issue.

For laser welding, cleaning, cutting, marking, or XRF analyzer problems, photos and videos are often more useful than text alone.

Prepare photos and videos before contacting us

A clear alarm photo, nameplate photo, and short problem video can help our engineers give a faster and more accurate solution.
